Dr. Eric I. Ray completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and went on to get his M.D. from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. While there, he next completed his Internal Medicine Internship in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, he completed Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Currently, he is working on his Fellowship in Interventional Spine.
Dr. Ray Shows Leadership in Past Activities:
- Supplemental Instruction Teaching Assistant for Cellular Biology at Texas Tech University: he instructed a review class twice a week with handouts, practice tests and question and answer sessions
- Gross Anatomy Teaching Assistant: he was a laboratory teaching assistant for first year medical students and first year pharmacy students
- Co-president of Phi Beta Pi Medical School fraternity: he organized social functions and fund raisers
- Texas Tech School of Medicine Mentor Program for undergraduate students at UTEP considering the medical profession
- Chief Resident of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Dr. Ray is interested in playing and watching all sports, especially golf. He also enjoys reading and spending time with his friends and family.
