Dr. Kim was a National Merit Scholar and received a full-tuition scholarship for his undergraduate education at Andrews University in Michigan. He then earned his M.D. from Loma Linda University in California and completed his physical medicine residency at UMDNJ/Kessler Institute in West Orange, which was ranked as the top PM&R residency in the East Coast, according to U.S. News and World Report. His training culminated with an interventional pain fellowship at Mid Atlantic Spine, which has offices in Maryland and Delaware and is academically associated with Temple University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Kim is currently a member of the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society for Interventional Pain Physicians, and North American Spine Society. He is also highly skilled in the field of electrodiagnostic testing and is a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine in addition to the American Academy of PM&R.
Dr. Kim lives with his beautiful wife Meeae, their daughter Kaitlyn, and their baby girl Kristin. He loves going to church, watching various sports, and playing some tennis when he has the time.
